Growing Northeast Ohio Means Growing Entrepreneurs

Some studies have found that younger companies are creating most of the new jobs. That's why it is so encouraging to see the continued improvement of Northeast Ohio's entrepreneurial climate in Northeast Ohio.
Bloomburg's BusinessWeek was the most recent national media outlet to highlight the success at the Youngstown Business Incubator and JumpStart continues to add to its portfolio of promising companies.
And our region's colleges are cranking out the next generation of entrepreneurs. Marcia Pledger of the Plain Dealer recently highlighted the winning companies of the business plan competition sponsored by Entrepreneurship Education Consortium in Northeast Ohio.
The winning plan from Baldwin Wallace College was for a chocolate coated straw. Laugh if you must, but then again many laughed at the cell phones.
