Resource for Minority Contractors

Northeast Ohio multi-billion dollar building boom (expanding steel mills in the Valley, Goodyear headquarters in Akron, casino in Cleveland etc.) is creating all sorts of opportunities for construction workers and companies. One of the priorities of Advance Northeast Ohio is to help minorities and others who have often failed to benefit from such booms in the past.
To help minority-owned contractors be better prepared to land some of the new business in the region, the Minority Business Acclerator Planning and Estimating Room has opened in downtown Cleveland. In addition to a wide array of high-tech construction bidding equipment, the office will host industry experts to provide assistance to African-American and Hispanic contractors.
