About Advance Northeast Ohio
Advance Northeast Ohio is the region's economic competitiveness agenda. It articulates a vision for our region; establishes a set of values and beliefs that guide how we need to act; and specifies strategic priorities and goals that we must collectively act on to make Northeast Ohio more competitive in the global economy.
A regional competitiveness agenda is needed because the global economy is organized around regions. That means we must be able to think, plan and act regionally in ways that strengthen our economic competitiveness.
Partners in Advance Northeast Ohio, from all sectors of our diverse region, use the agenda to shape the regional collaborations that promote more business growth, strengthen talent development, encourage inclusion and promote more efficient, effective government.
Launched in 2007 by the Fund for Our Economic Future, Advance Northeast Ohio is shaped by the priorities that tens of thousands of residents shared through their participation in Voices & Choices, as well as extensive economic research and the economic goals of dozens of stakeholders.
