The summer season brings visitors from near and far to Northeast Ohio to enjoy its multitude of warm weather attractions. While they are here, these visitors positively impact our economy in a big way when they enjoy our great shopping, fine dining, professional sports and family-friendly fun. With so much to see and do in the region, it’s no surprise they enjoy their time here and share their experiences with friends and family back home.
Keep in mind that when Northeast Ohioans experience the region like tourists, our economy benefits, too. With several openings and events taking place in 2010, now is a great time for you to explore. Highlights include celeb chef Michael Simon opening B Spot Burger in two new locations, the Cleveland Museum of Art opening the lower level permanent galleries as part of its $350 million renovation and expansion project and Cedar Point, which was named “Best Amusement Park in the World” for 11 consecutive years, recently introducing a thrilling water ride called Shoot the Rapids. These are just a few items from a long list of highlights that are constantly changing. To keep up with the most recent travel news, openings and highlights, visit Positively Cleveland, or one of the other local convention and visitors bureaus.
There is still plenty of summer left, so we encourage you to get out and enjoy the region like our millions of guests each year. And, don’t forget to share your experience with colleagues and friends in and outside the region.
