Ohio Third Frontier Gives Boost to Medical Capital

The Ohio Third Frontier Commission’s recommendation to award $7 million to Northeast Ohio medical imaging and biomedical companies further cements Northeast Ohio’s position as the Medical Capital.
The infusion of money is set to go to a variety of companies in The Plus region including CardioInsight Technologies, GE Healthcare Technologies, Phillips Healthcare, InfraRed Imaging Systems, Quality Electrodynamics, OrthoHelix Surgical Designs and a joint project between Case Western Reserve University and Athersys Inc.
