Getting That Degree, Or Certificate

Increasing the educational attainment of Northeast Ohio residents is a key goal of the Advance Northeast Ohio agenda, and recently the Gates Foundation provided a significant boost to those efforts.
Lorain County Community College and Stark State will be partner in a new initiative, called Completion by Design, to make it easier for older college students to complete the coursework needed to get their degree or certificate. Sinclair Community College in Dayton will also share in the $500,000 grant.
