A new partnership between Cleveland State University and the Northeast Ohio Medical University will result in more doctors committed to serving urban neighborhoods. The partnership reflects the type of collaboration needed if our region is to develop the talent needed to build vibrant communities.

The partnership is being supported by the Cleveland Foundation. Read more about it in Karen Farkas' story in the Plain Dealer.

The medical school also broke ground on a $42 million research facility. The school will also expand its effort to assist growing medical companies - an important sector of the region's economy. Read more about their plans in this Akron Beacon Journal story.
