Regional Business Plan

Advance Northeast Ohio is an economic competitiveness agenda that is a result of collaborative thinking among dozens of partners who have agreed on the vision, values, believes and priorities that should guide our actions to increase jobs, elevate incomes and reduce poverty.

Turning that thinking into action requires a plan. Indeed, it requires many plans because no one single plan can guide all of the actions required to revitalize an economy as large and as diverse as the one that encompasses 16 counties, four large metropolitan areas, and $170 billion in annual output. But those individual plans, both local and regional, need to be aligned and integrated if we are to achieve our vision of building the most vibrant economic region in the country.

The Fund for Our Economic Future has worked with its partners in Advance Northeast Ohio and the Brookings Institution to develop a regional business plan that integrates the various programs and initiatives that are addressing the priorities of the economic competitiveness agenda.

The plan, like our economy, needs to continuously evolve. In particular, it needs to incorporate the individual plans developed by our region's diverse communities and the plans developed by organizations and collaborations that are addressing elements of the Advance Northeast Ohio agenda.
